Kendra L. Raymond, MBA; ERYT, CPT* - Private Wellness Coach/Owner

As a former advertising/interactive marketing executive and mother of two, Kendra fully understands the importance of scheduling some "me time" into a busy day. She credits a daily yoga, mindful movement, and balanced nutrition practice for allowing her to renew her body and mind, manage and cope with stress, and generally feel more centered so that she can approach life with energy and passion.

A life long competitive swimmer, and a "gym rat" by the age of 22, she discovered the benefits of a regular yoga practice in 1999. After her first class, she was hooked and began practicing 3-4 times per week. Yoga provided a mindful way of moving, that brought more peace of mind and balanced wellness than any other form of exercise she had experienced.

Kids in Down dog - Yoga is for anybody no matter the ageIn 2009, Kendra took her yoga practice to the next level by entering YogaSpirit Studios' teacher training program. This comprehensive 14 month certification process included an in-depth study of anatomy, as well as a deep appreciation for the restorative and healing aspects of yoga. After teaching yoga for 6 years and advancing her certification to include yoga therapeutics, Kendra wanted to offer a broader selection of wellness and movement options for her clients. Between the years of 2012-2015, she became certified as a Personal Trainer, a Barre fitness instructor, and a stand up paddle board instructor. Most recently, she became certified as a Fitness Nutrition Specialist to help educate clients about mindful habit change. Her teaching is a fusion of traditional fitness with a strong foundation in the mindfulness of yoga.

She focuses her work on providing a safe, comfortable program of fusion fitness, mindful movement, and healthy habit formation, targeted to individual client goals, and based soundly in their health history. She prides herself on her knowledge of anatomy and alignment, and provides various alternatives and modifications for different body types, ailments, and injuries. Kendra hopes to bring each of her students the strength and peace she has found in a balanced wellness practice.

*Kendra is a certified yogaspirit® teacher and is registered through the Yoga Alliance as an ERYT. She is also an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, a STOTT/Merrithew TotalBarre Fitness Instructor, a WSUPA Certified Paddleboard and Paddleboard Yoga Instructor, and an ACE Fitness Nutrition Specialist
